Ben
has spent the last two decades helping businesses
get the most out of technology. After 6-1/2 years running
Watson/Schorr Consulting in Los Angeles, California he came
to Hawaii and enjoyed 8 years as the IT Director of Damon
Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, a large Honolulu law firm. Recently
named by the Pacific Technology Foundation as one of the
Top 50 Technology Leaders in Hawaii, Ben’s never seems
to stop thinking about how people communicate, share knowledge
and use that knowledge to reach their objectives.
14
years ago Microsoft named Ben a “Most Valuable Professional
(MVP)” in their Outlook product group and more recently
as an MVP in their OneNote product group. He is an author,
columnist and frequently requested speaker on topics from
technology to communications to business.
Ben is the author of "The Lawyer's Guide
to Microsoft Outlook 2007" and "The
Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Word 2007" published by the American Bar
Association. He is also a member of the Law Practice
Management section and the
ABA TECHSHOW Planning board.
Away
from the office Ben enjoys ocean kayaking, triathlons, reading,
softball and is something of a math/science geek.
Ben
lives in Kaimuki, Hawaii.
