Date Searching in Outlook

Interested in searching your folder or mailbox for messages received on a certain date? Outlook 2010 makes that pretty easy to do!
Click in the search box at the top of the message list and type:
received:date
Where "date" is the date you're looking for.
NOTE: Make sure when you type your date that you use forward slashes, like this "11/4/2009" instead of backslashes like this "11\4\2009" . If you use backslashes Outlook will look for any of those three numbers (11, 4, 2009) anywhere in the message. If you want to search the received dates you need to use the forward slashes.
